POINTS TO PONDER - Day 7

Please feel free to agree or disagree with points made, and feel free to comment if so desired. If you would like, you could write your own thoughts on the verse of the day, and include that in your comments below. Thank you and may you be blessed!! =)

“God, you are my God. I search for you. I thirst for you like someone in a dry, empty land where there is no water.” Psalm 63:1 NCV

God is God no matter how you look at it. He is the only ONE TRUE GOD! Maybe you think He’s too big to care about you… check the verse again - He is also stated as being ‘my’ God. Is He your God today? If not, you should ask Him to be. Search Him out. Your life will feel like a desert, until you have the complete blessings from a relationship with Him. Who wants to be a dry and empty land, when you can be a Spirit-filled nation? God promises to fill our needs. We all have God-shaped holes inside. God doesn’t just fill those holes, we need to desire to be filled. We need to ASK, SEEK and KNOCK. “Ask and it shall be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7-8) We should thirst for God, like someone in a desert thirsts for water. He will fill our every need!

There is a song by HILLSONG, called ‘The Desert Song’ and I love the lyrics, so I will post the YOU TUBE VIDEO and lyrics here. May you be blessed as you allow God to work on your “desert” heart!

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for filling our every need. Help us to trust in You. Let your Holy Spirit fill us to overflowing, so that we may share your love and power with the world. Help us be a blessing in someone’s life today! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
